Light-based cosmetic therapies are effective, non-invasive methods of addressing signs of aging, sun damage, spider veins, and acne. New technologies have made these treatments easier and more comfortable. Non-invasive procedures are becoming more and more popular due to our busy schedules, and intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser treatments are some of the most beneficial treatments for a variety of cosmetic concerns.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
Intense pulsed light therapy is a non-invasive way to treat signs of aging, such as wrinkles, sun spots, spider veins, enlarged pores, and rosacea. A handpiece that emits wavelengths of light is pressed to the skin, which heats the deeper layers of the dermis. This process improves the production of collagen, a protein that gives the skin structure and elasticity. Here at The Medical Skin Clinic, we offer IPL treatments to address acne, sun damage, and skin laxity.
Forever Clear™ Acne Photofacial
Forever Clear™ BBL uses broadband light (BBL) energy to stimulate and regenerate your skin cells, leaving you with clear, healthy, radiant skin. Blue light wavelengths are used to kill acne-causing bacteria, and yellow light wavelengths are used to reduce inflammation for a smooth, glowing complexion.
Forever Young™ BBL Photofacial
Forever Young™ BBL addresses signs of aging, sun damage, age spots, freckles, redness, small vessels, and other skin imperfections. Broadband light (BBL) technology allows for quick treatment of these aesthetic issues without damaging the healthy surrounding tissue.
SkinTyte™ BBL for Rejuvenation
SkinTyte™ tightens sagging skin and stimulates collagen production using infrared light technology. The device heats the surface to promote collagenesis, resulting in tighter, more youthful-looking skin with no downtime. SkinTyte™ is often used in conjunction with Forever Clear™.

Laser resurfacing is an effective way to remedy poor skin tone and texture. Lasers can be ablative, which means that a layer of tissue is removed, or non-ablative, which means that no tissue is removed. These treatments can address pigmentation issues, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, and sun damage.
HALO™ Laser Resurfacing
HALO™ uses a hybrid fractional laser to correct a wide range of skin concerns. Treatments may involve either ablative or non-ablative technology, depending on the needs and preferences of the patient. Ablative resurfacing removes a layer of damaged skin cells, and non-ablative procedures heat the underlying layers of the skin to promote the generation of new cells. HALO™ can be used on all skin tones, and results can be seen in as few as two treatment sessions.
