Cosmetic Injections: Neurotoxins
Neurotoxins (Botox®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau™) are FDA approved prescription medications that lessen the movement of treated areas by blocking nerve impulses and improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Neurotoxins are injected into the muscle around the crow’s feet, glabella, and forehead.
How does the treatment work?
There are many causes of the lines and wrinkles that develop as we age. When we frown, squint or even smile, the muscles contract causing the skin to fold and crease. After years of this repeated movement, the skin begins showing the effects. Sun damage can also cause lines and wrinkles as well as the cellular changes that come with normal aging. Using tiny needles, neurotoxins are injected under the skin where they relax the muscles, giving the face a fresh, smooth appearance.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Injections
Your PRP is retrieved by drawing your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge which separates your white and red blood cells as well as your platelet rich plasma. PRP gained popularity with orthopedics, but has quickly become a mainstay in the medical aesthetic field.
Your own platelet rich plasma can be used as an injectable product on multiple areas of your face for volume. Our nurses can assess if this is appropriate for you.
