Combining Halo & BBL Laser to achieve bright, younger skin

Ask any aesthetics professional what type of device leads to the greatest overall skin improvement, and in all likelihood, they will say lasers.

Newer, more effective laser treatments are released every year. Lasers can erase damage, even out your skin tone, and give you a firmer and more youthful appearance. However, not every laser has the same properties, and sometimes two types of laser treatments can work in tandem with one another.

Halo and BroadBand Light treatments are a perfect example of the ways two different lasers can complement each other. Combining Halo with BBL maximizes the benefits and the effectiveness of both individual treatments.

The HALO fractional laser addresses the effects of long-term sun exposure, the aging process, and environmental pollutants on the skin. It can be used on all skin types, and some popular treatment areas include the face, neck, arms, hands, and legs.

Most laser resurfacing treatments require several sessions to generate optimal results, but HALO can create visible improvements to the skin in just a single treatment session. This is because HALO is the first hybrid fractional laser ever developed, combining non-ablative wavelengths to coagulate tissue, stimulating collagen regeneration, and ablative wavelengths to vaporize damaged tissue.

According to a study conducted by Stanford University, cosmetic treatments that use BroadBand Light (BBL) can change your skin on a molecular level and literally turn back the clock.

BBL alters the parts of your cells that contribute to the aging process, changing their function rather than just their surface-level appearance, according to Dr. Anne Lynn S. Chang, a dermatologist from the Stanford University School of Medicine. The genes within your skin cells will change their patterns and become more like younger looking skin!

The treatment uses light energy to gently heat the upper layers of the dermis, stimulating skin cells to regenerate. The photothermal energy also eliminates redness and sunspots by reducing any melanin and fine blood vessels.

Halo & BBL

When Halo and BBL are combined, it creates amazing synergy and brings out the best of both treatments.

First, we perform the BBL treatment to erase any surface-level damage, such as discoloration and redness.

Next, we do a session of Halo to treat deeper layers of the dermis. This has anti-aging benefits, and also targets poor skin texture.

When the two treatments are combined, it allows you to improve both surface-level and deep-set skin issues. It’s a comprehensive skin rejuvenation that  doesn’t increase the amount of downtime you’ll need.

The result is brighter, smoother, and younger-looking skin — from the inside out!
